EE.UU. retiran huevos ante posible contaminación con Salmonella

Gravel Ridge Farms está retirando huevos grandes libre de jaula debido a una posible contaminación de Salmonella. El retiro se inició porque las enfermedades informadas se confirmaron en lugares que usaban huevos de Gravel Ridge Farm, y estamos retirando voluntariamente una gran cantidad de este producto por precaución, debido a que hay 14 personas infectadas con la cepa del brote de Salmonella Enteritidis.

Por su parte, Los Centros para el Control y la Prevención de Enfermedades (CDC) de EE.UU. recomiendan a los consumidores, restaurantes y tiendas minoristas que no coman, sirvan ni vendan huevos grandes de mesa de Gravel Ridge Farms, que están relacionados posiblemente con el brote en múltiples estados de infecciones por Salmonella.
